Gabriela Gall is a former ICE MA student at the Graduate School Education at Stanford University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Sao Paulo. Upon graduation, she joined the Center for Public Policy at Insper that develops research on public policy to contribute to Brazil’s economic and social development. Alongside Professor Ricardo Paes de Barros, Gabriela was involved in research projects to study the impact of school management initiatives on student achievement. She was also at the forefront of a study that aimed to organize and produce scientific knowledge on school dropout in Brazil, ultimately promoting debates and supporting government officials in their efforts to combat the issue in the Brazil. Currently, she joined the Lemann Center for a research fellowship to investigate the longitudinal association between student socioeconomic characteristics and achievement.
