Giácomo Rabaiolli Ramos

Giácomo is a Master's student in the International Education Policy Analysis program. Prior to joining Stanford and the Lemann Center, he researched Brazilian moral and civic education during his undergraduate studies in Political Science and Anthropology at the University of Chicago, where he was an Odyssey and a Stamps Scholar. Giácomo's research is informed by his experience growing up in a highly polarized political context at home and at school.

Luís Armando Gandin

Luís Armando Gandin holds a degree in Social Sciences from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1987), a Masters in Sociology from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1993) and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Wisconsin - Madison (2002). He is Professor of Sociology of Education at the School of Education and the Graduate Program of Education of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Editor-in-Chief of the journal of Educação & Realidade and Editor and founder of the journal Currículo sem Fronteiras.
