Robert Verhine

Bob Verhine is Full Professor of Education in the School of Education at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) and, in addition, is member of the Fulbright Commission of Brazil and founding member of the Academy of Sciences of the State of Bahia. In the past, he has served as Vice Provost (Pró-Reitor) of Graduate Study at UFBA, Scientific Director of the Foundation for Research Support of the State of Bahia (FAPESB), President of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Higher Education (CONAES), and CAPES/MEC representative for the field of Education.

Filipe Recch

Filipe Recch has a PhD in International Comparative Education and a Master’s degree in Political Science, both completed at Stanford University. Before coming to Stanford, he obtained a Master’s degree in Public Administration (Fundação João Pinheiro- FJP / MG) and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Federal University of Minas Gerais). Currently, Filipe is a postdoctoral fellow at the Lemann Center for Entrepreneurship and Educational Innovation in Brazil.
