Rachel Carlos Duque Reis is a professor at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) and a PhD student at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of São Paulo (ICMC-USP), Brazil. She received her BSc in Computer Science from the Federal University of Viçosa, Brazil, and the MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Campinas, Brazil. From 2004 until 2010 she worked as a software analyst at the Eldorado Institute located in Campinas, Brazil, and as a contractor to Motorola Inc. Her main research interests are in the areas of Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL), Affective Computing and Technology-Enhanced Learning.
