Gabriela is an educator, educational researcher and project manager, with a bachelor in International Relations and a History teaching license. She joined the Lemann Foundation in 2015, where she worked in the departments of Grant-making, Digital Educational Resources, and Innovation until mid-2021. She was also a professor of Entrepreneurship and Design at Escola Vereda, where she created and implemented the 10th Grade course curriculum using active teaching methodologies such as Student-Centered Learning, and Project-Based Learning. In September 2021, she started a Master in Learning, Design and Technology at Stanford University, where she's currently researching Teacher Education; Self-Regulated Learning; Metacognition; how findings from the Learning Sciences can inform K-12 classroom practices.
