About Claudia Costin:
Claudia Costin is the president of the Salto Institute and one of the most renowned education experts in Brazil. She founded and directed the Center for Education Policies at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation. She was the Global Director of Education at the World Bank and was a member of the Global Commission on the Future of Work of the International Labor Organization (ILO). She is a visiting professor at the Stanford Graduate School of Education and, until 2022, she was a visiting professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, having also taught at PUC-SP, Insper, and Enap (Canada). She has served as the Minister of Administration and State Reform, Secretary of Culture for the State of São Paulo, and Secretary of Education for the city of Rio de Janeiro. She is a co-founder of the civil society movement Todos Pela Educação.
