Applying the design process to tackle learning problems

How does the design of learning environments and technologies help tackle key educational challenges? In this seminar, Renato and Adelmo will present a framework to guide this process, which also bases the Learning, Design and Technology (LDT) Master Program at Stanford Graduate School of Education. In addition to that, they will share their work-in-progress projects for that Master’s Program:

  • EQode: how might pre-college Computer Science education prepare students to consider the broader societal effects of technology while learning the technical skills pertaining to that field?
  • Design Data: how might we democratize the learning of foundational concepts and practices in data science for those with non-technical backgrounds?
