Context Matters: human formation, culture and a teacher training project

The seminar was divided into four main stages. The first one was aimed at discussing the phenomenological approach of human formation. Edith Stein's philosophical studies were presented connected with geographic and pedagogical studies. In the second part, the methodologies and results of the  author's PhD thesis in Cultural Geography were presented. In the third part the author talked about the PED Brasil teacher training project, making an introduction about the principles, contexts and practices. Finally, the author discussed about the previous results of the research that has been developed on the operation of PED Brazil in the universities of Anima.
