Ulisses Araujo is a Full Professor at the School of Arts, Sciences, and Humanities of the University of São Paulo, and is President of the PAN-PBL: Association of Problem-Based Learning and Active Learning Methodologies (www.panpbl.org). At the University of São Paulo is the Scientific Director of the Research Center in New Pedagogical Architectures (NAP). From 2003 to 2010 was the Ministry of Education consultant for the "Program Ethics and Citizenship: constructing values at school and in society," implemented in all the 27 Brazilian States, in more than 2.000 K-12 schools. Since 2012 is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Moral Education, and since 2013 a member of the Executive Board of the Association for Moral Education. In Brazil, is editor of the book series "New Pedagogical Architectures," published by Editora Summus. He has published 15 books in Brazil and Spain, all of them related to themes of citizenship, moral education, Innovation, Active Learning Methods, and improvement of quality in education.
