Maria Helena Castro will present and lead a discussion about the challenges Inep is facing. She will consider the challenges at the new Brazilian National Common Core. In addition, she will discuss changes in the framework of national assessments and exams in a context of discontinuities at Inep's decision makers and political instability.
Maria Helena Castro, Former Secretary of Education (Brazil) Sociologist and Master in Political Science, she is a retired professor at the State University of Campinas/Unicamp. She is member of the National Board of Education and President of ABAVE (National Association of Educational Evaluation).
