About Doani Bertan
Doani holds a degree in Pedagogy and post-graduate degrees in Special Education; Libras (Brazilian Sign Language); Psychopedagogy; Practice and Advanced Libras Interpretation with Emphasis on the Preparation of Bilingual Portuguese/Libras Teaching Material. Doani works as a bilingual teacher of deaf and hearing students, author and writer, speaker, trainer, creator of Sala8, finalist (Top 10) of the Global Teacher Prize 2020, and honored by the Barbie Role Models project “Inspiring Women” in 2022.

About Darkson Machado
He holds a degree in Portuguese Language and Literature, with specializations in municipal education management, pedagogical coordination, and Portuguese language. Darkson was a Visiting Student at Iowa State University. Tenured teacher in the state education network of the state of Piauí, he is currently the principal of CETI Augustinho Brandão in Cocal dos Alves. He is a member of the Lemann Foundation Leaders Network and a local coordinator of the Conectando Saberes Network, a national network of teachers.

About Janaína Barros
Pedagogical Coordinator of the Bahia State Network at CES Seabra, in the Chapada Diamantina region (BA). Janaína has also worked as a trainer for teachers, coordinators, and technical teams of education departments at the Chapada Institute. She has a degree in Pedagogy from the State University of Bahia (UNEB), where she specialized in didactics and curriculum, and is currently a master's student in Teacher Training at the Federal University of Feira de Santana (UEFS). Her first professional experience was as a teacher of a multi-grade class in a quilombola community. She has worked as a pedagogical coordinator at the Seabra Education Department since 1999. In 2013, she won the Educador Nota 10 Award from the Victor Civita Foundation in the Management category. In 2014, she represented Brazil at the UN in REDUCA. She was a Finalist for the Public Spirit Award 2018, and in 2019, she participated in the TEDx “Of everything that there is in the world” in Caruaru. Janaína is the author of courses at Nova Escola and the protagonist of the film “Prova Escrita”, winner of the Festival Awards in the United States. Today, she serves as the Pedagogical Director at Viven - Citizens for a better tomorrow.
