Tiago Cortinaz is a Ph.D. graduated at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. His research interests include state and educational policies, curriculum and educational (in)equality. He has also worked as a researcher for the World Bank. He is Undersecretary of Basic Education to the Federal District Secretary of Education. His current research analyzes the creation of a national curriculum in Brazil (Common National Base).
