Thais is graduated in Public Administration at Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV-SP), concluded the OPM Key Executive Program of Harvard Business School (HBS) and has specializations in Social Enterprises and Non-Profit Management at HBS and University of Cambridge. Before her masters program at Stanford, she was the Executive Director of Fundacao Estudar – the Brazilian leading private scholarship fund for undergraduate and graduate programs and career development programs for gifted students – for six years. Before this, she managed programs that sponsored the improvement of public management in the state’s schooling systems, at Brava Foundation. At Stanford, she studies Higher Education financing in Brazil and the relationship between student aid through federal scholarship and loan programs and college completion.
