Tatiana Hochgreb-Haegele is a scientist and researcher with a keen interest in science education and teaching education for scientists. She is coordinating the development and implementation of PED Sciences at the Lemann Center at Stanford. Tatiana has also been the Science Lead and manager of the project to design the new science curriculum and teacher professional development in the city of Sobral (Brazil), with Paulo Blikstein (Columbia) and Cassia Fernandez (USP).

Tatiana was a Postdoctoral Researcher (2007-2011) and Research Fellow (2011-2013) at Caltech, a Visiting Scientist at Oxford University (2013-2015) and a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCSF (2005-2006). She developed her PhD work at the Heart Institute (InCor-USP) and at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo. Tatiana also has a D.D.S. (2004) and B.Sc. in Molecular Sciences (1999), an innovative interdisciplinary science program at the University of São Paulo. She is a Pew Latin American Fellow in Biomedical Sciences (2005) and her research was funded by the Pew Foundation, CIRM (California Institute for Regenerative Medicine), NIH and FAPESP.
