Rogério is a computer science Ph.D. Candidate at the Federal University of Pernambuco. He recently participated in a 6-month visiting program at Stanford University through the Lemann Center. His research focuses on Data Mining and Machine Learning, with a primary emphasis on applying these techniques to educational data. In addition to his academic pursuits, Rogério has been an IT Analyst at Instituto Federal do Norte de Minas Gerais since 2010. Apart from his usual IT activities, he has also taken on different roles, including the management of the social program Mulheres Mil from 2013 to 2015. Furthermore, he is currently a member of the research project "Evaluation and Promotion of Educational Equity in Secondary Education" at the University of Salamanca.
