Maria Thereza holds a BA in Public Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-EAESP) and is currently a Master's degree student in International Comparative Education at Stanford University. Her professional and academic journey reflects a commitment to critical areas of social impact.
Until 2023, she worked at Itaú Educação e Trabalho, where she provided technical guidance to policymakers, working to bridge the gap between education and employment. Additionally, she dedicated her time as a volunteer at Serenas, contributing to efforts aimed at addressing gender violence in schools.
During her time at FGV-EAESP, she conducted research, including studies on Brazil's Bolsa Família cash-transfer program and the self-construction of urban housing, contributing to a deeper understanding of these subjects.
