Ana Paula Pereira, MA ’19, is the Executive-Director of Instituto Sonho Grande, a Brazilian NGO with the mission of scaling projects with evidence of high impact on Brazilian basic education. Since 2015, Sonho Grande has supported the expansion of a full-time High School model, an alternative to the model prevalent in Brazil, and evaluated its results in youth learning and in reducing the country's socioeconomic inequalities. There are currently 780,000 students enrolled in 3,700 Full-Time High Schools in all states in the country, which represent 12% of the total High School students in Brazil. In 2019, Ana completed a Master’s in International Education Policy Analysis at Stanford University, California, as a fellow at the Lemann and Estudar Foundations. In Stanford, Ana was co-president of the first edition of Brazil at Silicon Valley and did research on the relevance of management in educational results.
